Hello,
I can’t believe that this year is going by fast. I will admit life, school, and writing have gotten in the way of me updating this blog, but I realized today at work that I need to work on this. So here are my updates; TikTok has a ban that’s been voted and passed but they are suing said ban so who knows what’s going on with that. I am on chapter 4 but it is going smoothly I have rewritten my outline (main plot points) for both chapters 3 and 4. Also, I am making a new Spotify playlist. Yes, I listen to music when I write. I cannot keep the room quiet. If it is quiet then my mind will freak out. It has happened before and I will not let it happen again.
Now that summer is here I hope to be updating this more often, this and several other social media's that I have for my writing profile. Below is a sneak of just something random from my work in progress.
SNEAK PEAK:
“I may be quiet gentlemen but that doesn’t mean that I am
not observing what is going on. I am
seeing the mess you are trying to make of my yes, MY Kingdom. And I will say
this keep it up and you will regret what the laws you are trying to pass. Yes
we have more made sirens than born yes the humans are feeling the call of ocean
magic but the magic of the ocean is still balanced but it won’t be for long with
the way you are going” She softly says looking around. Her words maybe soft
but they all heard her. “Now unless you want wild or scarred sirens in the depths
then you will continue to meet those that get thrown overboard, but I will not
stop teaching them what it is like to be a siren. Cause we know it is more than what the humans have ever said.” As Mila was finished talking the advisors and
other councilmen who wanted the laws to be harsher for the made or magic called
sirens/mermaids shamefully looked anywhere but at the Queen. “Now this nonsense
of almost enslaving our people is over. But I agree that something is coming,
so let’s be prepared mermen and siren men. Up the guards, make sure that the
ones in training are ready for patrol, and let’s ensure that the ones who want
to be guards are still treated equally regardless of whether they are born or
made. My kingdom gentlemen is still healing from what my father did. That
damage could be why there are so many made sirens and mer-people which means we
need the new blood but if it’s something worse” stopped and frowned causing
them to get worried. “If it’s something worse then I as a Queen and leader want
not only to protect our people but everyone that will be involved.”
Hope you love it. Now here is a tip that I am going to use myself. Set an alarm for updating any and all social media but don't do it all at once because then you will get overwhelmed with the amount of updating. Here's to one day at a time and don't forget to breath.
