I can't believe it's December already. The 25th is coming up, and so is my birthday, the 24th. I am turning 38 years old, and I will probably be working again. I don't mind mainly because I am working small business florist and greenhouse. This month is "one of the slow" months but it's also the last month before we start the prep for Valentine's Day Feb 14th. Yes, we begin in January and continue into February. Personally, some things have happened and I do need to focus on my nephews (the oldest just turned 15 middle man and youngest monkey are turning 13/14 and 10 next month). School is going good and I am working on a social media strategy class (still can't make sense of it and it's almost done). I think I have a break in between classes don't fully know yet.
Writing update chapter 4 is almost done. Word count so far is 10,659 that's for 3 almost 4 full chapters. I am thinking of going to the author's con in July again. This last trip was relaxing and energetic at the same time. I stayed with a friend (who is an author herself) and helped with her table (I PEOPLED AND DIDN'T FEEL THE NEED TO HIDE). Plus it was a vacation and I got told I was going on said vacation again. This means I need to save up for flights and food money on my end besides sending half of the hotel to the author that has said table. Plus BOOKS!
Also, I do have a cover artist in mind for the cover of The Call of the Ocean (wip name) just need to get prices and save up money for said artist. The other thing is saving up for an editor I can't not and will not do a deep edit of my book because I will take chunks of the story out and basically do a rewrite without meaning too.
